Trip to Cork

Good evening everybody,
I'm exhausted, I'm tired, both of my knees are sore, my left ankle, my hip and not to forget the capsules on my little fingers on both hands, and I got a red card for three times 2 minutes in one match... shame on me!

But actually that's all I have to complain about the weekend, it really was great craic! The tournament was fun, we've been just 5 men players, so we always had to get a goalkeeper, and we had to play 5 against 6, at least in the first game. In the following 2 matches, the other team was so extraordinarily fair to play as well just with 5 on the pitch, and in the final (yes, we made it), we 'borrowed' two players from Carlow IT, so we were able to play regular handball. But very unfortunately we lost, so finished second. Like the girls actually, they finished second as well, while the other team was just second last. (Hope you got that one...)

On saturday evening we've been out to a pub called Quad, till 2 o'clock approx. Very nice there, the whole Carlow team was horribly drunk, funny, as they were really hard to understand due to their terrible drunken non-native english. Afterwards we wanted to go to a nightclub called Cube (from quad to cube...) but everybody was too tired, so we decided to walk home, being attacked by a strange slutty wasted irish girl with her white bag (still didn't figure out why), anyway, we had a laugh.

I think I'm gonna let the pictures talk from now on... have fun :)

Handball all over

Hey guys and gals,

I just returned from a Handball match against Lughnasa, which is basically the All Irish Team without Eoin (he plays in our team!). And we drew, 33-33, but we should have won, bad defence like everytime...
Anyway, this weekend we'll (the Handball Team) go to Cork to play a tournament, and of course, visit the town and have some fun down there.

Today I also had a test in Probability and Finance II, and I have to admit, it could have been better, but I think it's still first grade. So I don't worry! Next week is a test in Complex Analysis, which should be easier. But I have to study anyway :(

St. Patricks Day

To sum up, the town is awkwardly full and it's pretty much like "Fasching" in Germany, except less colourful but more green... (not in this picture anyway).

Some Days In Germany

Hello all, as some of you know, and some you dont, Im going to spend the next few days, from saturday to wednesday, to be exact, in Germany.
I just decided to be in Karlsruhe on sunday, in the afternoon to fetch a coffee somewhere, depends who invites me or not, and in the evening going out to one of Karlsruhe's beautiful pubs or nightclubs!
Tell me who's there! My mobile with the old number will work!

Quinns

Hi folks, I'm back, with some news and some pictures!
First of all, we had a lovely night out yesterday evening in the Quinns, like the headline suggests. I think we've been a group of around 15 people, mixed nationalities, some irish, some french, some german.
Second big news is that I'm flying to good ol' germany next saturday, mainly to go to Friedrichshafen on the Bodensee to have an interview for an internship during summer! Wish me luck!
Thats it for the moment, if you're lucky, I'm gonna tell you about the Volleyball tournament which is on wednesday, and perhaps of another lost match we had with the Handball team...
