My first semester, apart from the exams in january, is over! On this saturday, I'll return to Germany for about 3 weeks, so I hope I'll find some time to see you all. I heard there will be a 'Eulenfest' on the 20th of December. So perhaps there are some of you guys, I think I'll be there if nothing serious happens.

Können gerne Skatabend machen, ich wäre ja für Sonntag oder Mittwoch (Eulenfest ist sowieso laaaangweilig). Sonst können wir das ja auch erst nach paar Skatrunden aufmischen.
Bis die Tage, fahre moin nochma nach Düsseldorf zu meiner Schwester, aber am Sonntag bin ich auch wieder in der Stadt.

Hey there.
How are things on the island? I'm ok here, a little tired maybe because of yesterdays Weihnachtsfeier and because of my having to work this morning. The Weihnachtsfeier was great, I think I haven't eaten that much in a pretty long time. There also were some funny presentations in which the employees made fun of the boss who was also there... very nice.
I have to agree with Tim, the Eulenfest is "laaaangweilig", I think playing Skat would be the much better alternative, but we'll see about that when you're actually here.
I think I'll leave it at that, hope you'll have a good flight tomorrow. I'll see you when you get here,
